Our Story

My Father Philip Bill founded the company in 1971. The company started out as PA Repairs and in the early 1980’s the name was changed to Phil’s Auto Repairs. The business has been well known as a fair and honest business with a family like atmosphere. The company was established with an open door policy with the means of a great man who would not just give up on your cars problems and tell you that you have to take it to the dealer. Instead Phil would in any circumstance, fix your car or die trying. That’s what set him apart from other repair shops.
In the mid 1980’s Phil’s son Jason started working for him and this was the start of the second generation of the family business. In the mid 1980’s Phil started to ween himself away from the business and go into teaching. He sold the business to Jason in the year 2001 and the name changed to “Auto Service Solutions”. The company still has the same type of open door policy to this day. You can come in for repairs to your car or just come in for a visit to talk and catch up on old times.

Philip Bill - Founder and 1st Generation Owner
My father Phil is currently teaching at the Concord Regional Technical High School in the Automotive Program. He instills his same honest teaching skills to all of his students and is a very well-known and loved instructor. I’m dedicating our NEW and updated office to my Dad Phil Bill on this 23rd of June 2016.
From 2nd Generation Owner Jason Bill
“Thank you Dad, for everything you have taught me and done for me throughout the years. You’re the Greatest Dad, Mentor, Teacher anyone could have.”
As we enter the next generation of the Bill family business. There are still others that make Auto Service Solutions the kind of shop every trust and you know we do it right the FIRST time!
But there are two more in this family business that my father provided an opportunity but there is my partner in life and on the job Lori and the Third generation Kyle whom this shop could not provide the superior service and confidence you should expect.

Auto Service Solutions Family

Lori Bill | Executive Administrative Assistant
Behind the “Front Desk” of Auto Service Solutions
My wife Lori started working for me in 2011 as the Secretary at Auto Service Solutions but quickly began furthering her training by taking courses in bookkeeping. She also received additional training in QuickBooks. Though her work may often appear to go unnoticed, she is the friendly, helpful voice on the other end of the phone when I am unable to take your calls. Lori is truly an amazing individual who works extremely hard to keep my family’s home running just as smoothly as the shop; she is a critical part of the family business operations.

Jason Bill – Current 2nd Generation Owner

3rd Generation Kyle Bill | Service Technician
My Son Kyle Bill
Has joined the ranks of the family business and I’m deeply proud of all his accomplishments. He has been working for me since 2017, the summer of his sophomore year in high school. During his junior and senior years of high school, he attended MST in Manchester for automotive vocational schooling. He has proven to be a born natural for this type of work; he excelled in his courses at MST and has been a huge asset to our staff at the shop.
In December of 2018, Kyle joined the Army Reserves to fulfill his longing to serve his country. When he began his Basic Training in March of 2018, a very noticeable void appeared here at the shop. With the workload increasing in his absence, I asked my father to step back one more time to help pick up the slack, which he did without hesitation. Kyle returned from Basic Training a different young man. He is now grown up and eager to become a part of the 3rd generation of Auto Service Solutions family technicians.
In addition to the training he receives while in the Army Reserves, Kyle is also enrolled at Manchester Community College and is currently working towards his Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology. With the incredibly fast evolution taking place within this field, knowledge is essential; my customers and I are extremely grateful that Kyle has decided to embark with us on this next era of the shop’s evolution.
